Staff at Edge Mutual donned their best Barbie-themed outfits, laced up their bowling shoes and took to the lanes to fundraise for Big Brothers Big Sisters North Wellington with Crewson Insurance on February 4th. Together, 217 bowlers from around North Wellington came together to support important mentoring work for children in the community.

Our Bowling Barbies and Kens, with blonde wigs and pink accessories, tried their best to avoid the gutters and bring home a win; instead, we helped raise a total of $10,523 for BBBS's local initiatives and programs, and connected with individuals from our local community and mutual network in the meanwhile.

The Mount Forest Bowling Centre was decked out with blacklights, pink balloons and streamers--perfectly decorated for 217 Barbies to knock out some pins!

If you missed out, BBBS is hosting two more Bowl for Kids Sake events: one on Mount Forest's community day on February 25th, and another on March 3rd for the Arthur-Alma area. To register a team and book a time slot, email Teri Dykeman here.
