On Friday June 13th, representatives from Edge Mutual attended Norwell District Secondary School's 2025 Commencement to distribute scholarships funded by the company as we continue our mission of investing in our community.

    After the graduate processional and presentation of the Class of 2025, underwriter Angie Culp presented two students with their $1000 scholarships. Trent Newton (shown above) was recognized for his academic performance and extra-curricular involvement with the Norwell Ambassador Award. Bernie Hale (shown below), as Norwell's 2025 Valedictorian, received the Norwell Valdedictorian Award.

    Further Scholarships for Academic Achievement 

    Edge Mutual funded two more scholarships to students in recognition of their dedication to education. Jorja Lee was recognized for outstanding academic performance by being awarded the Governer General Recipient Scholarship; $1000 for the recipient of the Governer General's Medal, given to the student with the highest average through grade 11 and 12. Finally, Madi Schaus was awarded the $1000 Academic Achievement award in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement and contributions to the Norwell community.

    Investing in Our Future

    As Edge Mutual strives to find new ways to support our local community, having the opportunity to invest in the education of the next generation is something we're enthusiatic about. We're thankful to Norwell Disctrict Secondary School for providing this chance to build connections with and provide opportunities for their students!
